Posted: a minute ago "Quote" Key, whats your system tallying for runs in As game ? 8.5 looks high at first... aporeciate it BoL
I agree that line seems high, but the A's are potentially explosive versus the lefty Keuchel, and what if like every other 5-0 quality start pitcher (like Bundy), Manaea decides to implode today? If I were playing it though F5 under 4.5 would be my choice and you can get that at even money. BOL

Posted: 8 minutes ago "Quote" You can use the old format again sir
The new format will be revised and better than it works now, but asking Covers to go backwards is probably fruitless. Like Monoca Lewinsky and Stormy Daniels, you might as well get over it and move on.

Yes, thanks for bringing up Bundy...really struggled with command yesterday, oh well. I think the 8.5 almost gives it away that it goes over tonight. I just don’t know how, thinking both get hit tonight.. or at least I hope.

Well, if you are going to play the over Mike, I hope it ends Oakland 9-0.

You hit the nail on the head - I played the under f5 in the Oakland game. You can get it at 5 for some extra juice. So guaranteed to get 5 runs in the 5th.

Maybe another reason I backed off that total - the line is favoring the over and I can't figure ot why. The Stros are not hitting lefties worth a darn and Manaea has been oustanding. Keuchel is not in Cy Young form, but he is consistent. Somebody knows something we don't. Should make it interesting to watch.

Posted: 14 minutes ago "Quote" Minor is interesting. Good ump and I might play. You do not understand why the line favors over. Interesting
Yeah, that line is still going up and bettors are starting to come in on the under, but I thought the opener of 8 was more accuarate and they pushed it up. It has been around 50-50 public preference all along so it has to be money that moved it, but not really big money. Like I said, interesting to watch.

Posted: 2 minutes ago "Quote" Ain't it a cardinal rule to fade a pitcher off a no hitter or close to a no hitter...Colon & Ross both got shelled their next outing..
It is a concept, but I don't accept it as a "cardinal rule". Just putting the names Colon (pr 51.3), Ross (pr 60.8) and Manaea (pr 77.5) together is difficult. For Colon and Ross, in their current form, it was a miracle. Not so for Manaea. He also did his thing versus the Red Sox, a far more powerful opponent than Colon and Ross faced. It is always your money, your choice.

Both big dogs push at 5 innings, both now lead; watch them win full game.
I am opposite with the F5/FG fun. My unders both hit F5. Lost one with 2 outs in the 9th after a missed strike 3 call (Cleveland), and now sweating out this A's/Astros game!
1-0-2 is still good my man. But stinks missing out on the + money with those barking dogs.

What I have learned to do is split my money when doing first 5 on a dog. Half on the ML and half on +1/2. It has worked surprisingly well for me thus far this year. And in your case, I played both games as well, won a unit and pushed on a unit. Just my experience.
