I will still contend that Sale is one of the most undervalued lefties in
the game. You wouldn’t get this line with Kershaw or Bumgarner on the hill, but
folks forget those guys play in the N.L. and seldom see a DH, except in
Interleague play, always have the pitcher in the 9 spot for a bailout, and are
fortunate to do most of their work in Left Coast lefty parks. Those are
tremendous advantages and taken into consideration Sale is as elite as either
one. The Sox offense is right there with the Orioles and a tough matchup for
Jimenez, who has not been impressive since opening day.
