5/13 - $365 each – flat bets - [3% of bankroll, 10,000 +/- profit/loss]
F5 – Blue Jays +145 – Stripling/Morton
Comment: The crowd is embarrassing me by acting like complete out-of-towners, but I have managed to escape them (don’t pay the ransom!) for at least a little while. Meanwhile the Jays have popped the Braves 5 straight meetings and there is no reason they can’t sweep the season series. For all the swagger they strut with the Braves really aren’t a very good team. Please, no trends, angles or “won’t get swept at home”. None of that interests me. I want the better chucker and offense playing better ball.
Maybe another later if I can ditch the crowd again.
Now, as for all that drivel you guys pasted onto my completely clean and non-prurient thread yesterday, I intend to address that, but not until I have breakfast and escaped the crowd again. Sheesh, you guys are something else.

I have a theory. To me, baseball is looking a lot more like baseball. And it's because they deadened the ball. Basically using a real baseball again. Not that juiced up Titlest that our old friend LC would mention.
I think that there are less variables this way. I haven't seen any homers on "excuse me swings". I haven't seen guys with warning track power tally whacking their slugging %.
It's a good time to be a handicapper of pitching.
Does it feel like the good ole days again?

Pitching is the heart and soul of the game. When they turn it into Home Run Derby they take everything predictable about it out of the game. If they do that again or move the mound back I may call it a day and chuck it all. I could refresh my skills and go back to card counting at Black Jack, but that is a real grind, not E-Z money like so many think. Or maybe basketball, there is still some money to be made there.

I compute 9.5 because I think both offenses are a little undervalued, but I won't be touching the total. Books are showing 7.5 but that does not mean I endorse the over, just won't touch the under. PASS.
