Been posting elsewhere. (Where there's no bs)

I like covers, I really do...but the amount of immaturity that's popped up in the past year has driven MANY guys away. Prove me wrong...I used to come here regularly...this is maybe the third time I've looked at this site in the past two weeks. Gf out of the hospital...nearly all better, so I have time to bullshitt with the covers brothers...if there are any left.

Let's see what happens.

Not going to dig up old records...not going to cater to anyone...just going to do that I do best...post picks to generate intelligent discussion. That's what my threads have always been about. I miss having them...but then again, I don't miss the harassment.

What are your thoughts on this Pirates team? It's so mind boggling to me. I never know if they are over valued, under valued, playing well, opposition is having a bad series, they can hit, they can't hit. I don't get them... Anyways best of luck and good luck to your girl. Mine just had surgery today, so she's in rough shape as well.

IMO the Buccos will learn from their late season collapses the past 2 years and will be in it until the end this year and may just win the division. Will definitely finish over .500 at least.  I am a homer fan and watch every game possible and this year so far they just seem to have it all together and will get better as the year progresses.  If not for Liriano and Morton starting the year injured, then Sanchez would not have been in the rotation and they would have at least 3 more wins already. They lost every time he started, which was 5 games I think, so would have probably won 3 of them at least.  But luckily he has been given the boot and Morton and Liriano are both within a week or so of being back. Then Jeff Karstens not far behind them.  Gerrit Cole will get called up later in the summer for a late season boost to help prevent a late season collapse this time. Russell Martin and Marte are the biggest difference this year, and Inge provides so much needed veteran leadership off the bench.  But Martin is the biggest addition imo and also veteran leadership they needed badly.
