Orioles/Yankees UNDER 8.5 (2 units)Hiroki Kuroda has been lights out at Yankee Stadium since donning the pinstripes. In 2013, he put up a 2.35 ERA and 1.02 WHIP. In 2014, he had a 2.72 ERA and 1.01 WHIP at home. Lights out numbers for the veteran righty. Crazy thing is, he is also unreal in day games as a Yankee. In 2013, he put up a 2.26 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in day games. In 2012, he had a 1.99 ERA and 0.99 WHIP. Nasty numbers. Kuroda takes on an O&#x27;s team that have struggled at the plate early on. Baltimore sends Ubaldo Jimenez, who is going to have trouble with the longball. But I like the under more since Baltimore plays the Yankees very tough.

Royals &#x2B;107 (2 units)Jason Vargas looked very sharp in his debut start against the Tigers. In this pitcher&#x27;s park, he should have a solid season, especially at home. Matt Moore continues to have issues with his command. He takes on a Royals team that hits lefties well. The Royals have hit Moore hard, as Matt has a 6.39 ERA and 1.82 WHIP against them in his career. Royals should be favoured in this game.

I like it. Jimenez got hit hard in one game vs. the Yankees last year, but the players that roughed him were Cano, Wells, and Hafner. Jimenez won't have to worry about those cats tomorrow.

Indians -142 (3 units)This is my play of the day for tomorrow. Corey Kluber was very poor in his 2014 debut, but he&#x27;s going to be rock solid this season. Kluber was lights out at home last year, putting up a 2.76 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. He takes on a Padres team that has the coldest offense in the MLB right now. Bounce back spot for Kluber after a bad outing, bounce back spot for the Tribe after a home loss on Sunday. Cleveland takes on Robbie Erlin, a young lefty who is a decent prospect for San Diego. Don&#x27;t like the spot for him though because this Indians team destroys lefties. Cleveland takes the opener of this series.

Haha thanks bud. I like the UNDER in the Reds/Cards game as well but it went down to 6.5. I'll wait to see if it climbs back up to 7. Also leaned A's but I feel like -142 is too high since Correia is much better at Target Field. One more play...

Angels/Astros OVER 8 (2 units)

Way too low of a number here. The Astros have continued to hit lefties well, as they did in 2013. C.J. Wilson is not the same pitcher on the road, where he put up a 4.13 ERA and 1.53 WHIP in 2013. In a day game at Minute Maid, I think the ball is gonna fly. Angels will rock Cosart's world tomorrow.

Hey rg3, great picks today I really like your under on the yankees you mind if I throw some ideas at you you can tell me what you think? 2.46 on the Rangers, I know you&#x27;re a big fan of value? That seems awfully high, I know Scheppers is pitching and he got roughed up his first game, but Lackey&#x27;s had it tough against the Rangers also, I can easily see him getting hit a few bombs off of him, but are the Red Sox due? Perhaps. What do you think? What about the O/U on the A&#x27;s games (kinda like the under but don&#x27;t really know if the Twins stadium plays a specific way, A&#x27;s are my favorite team so I watch them alot and their offense isn&#x27;t that great to me, they can often be very cold) and on the Angels (also like the under, Cosart seems reliable)? Thanks man congrats today

dguimont: Definitely like the value on the Rangers. The Red Sox are playing like garbage right now. UNDER in the Twins game also sounds solid. Not going to play those but I would definitely lean those ways. The reason I like the Angels/Astros OVER is because of how poor C.J. Wilson is on the road, how well the Astros hit lefties, and how I think Cosart is due to get smacked around.

Upon further review you&#x27;re on your own with KC lol.  Matt Moore pitches very well on the road (2.74 ERA, 10-1 in 2013) and TB hits lefties just as well as KC does.  The season is young but so far in 2014 TB team OPS is ranked 4th while KC is ranked 19th.  KC sticks just haven&#x27;t woken up yet.Matt Moore was also an excellent night pitcher in 2013 (2.88 ERA, 13-3) while Vargas wasn&#x27;t as sharp at night (4.52 ERA, 7-6)I admit I liked KC as soon as I saw it but the more I dig the less angles I&#x27;m finding to back KC.  If anything I&#x27;m leaning the other way now.Still on board 110% with the Indians though.  BOL

Have not posted much on this site in the past, but I plan on getting more involved this baseball season. Have been looking through the forum, and your numbers and analyses have been jumping out at me.

I was looking through tomorrow's games and those numbers for Kuroda are pretty ridiculous, and the Yanks hitting is just not getting it done right now. I think Tex going on the DL is a good thing for them bc he has been awful, but 8.5 seems high.

I was looking at the opener at the series opener for the White Sox and Rockies, this total of 10 seems very attainable, Both teams bats have come out on fire. I realize the White Sox opened up with the Twins and their pitching should be in the bottom half of the league by seasons end. Colorado hitting .300 as a team and playing at Coors Field, this total should definitely have a good shot

Any thoughts on this total?? Any numbers you think I might have overlooked for this situation?

Yaaa the Royals are legit this year and will be especially tough to beat at home. Throughout his career, Vargas has excelled at home in his pitcher&#39;s parks (SEA and LAA). I expect that to continue in 2014.
