And Bud Selig was so wrong about replays taking the flow out of the game when he was on Letterman last night.
The other night's umpires group review on a questionable play took longer than a video review. Took about more than 3 minutes.
By the time the umpires converge to make a call, Joe Buck & every other broadcaster out there already made the call based on the video they reviewed. Takes less than 30 seconds to review a questionable play like that, i'd assume.
Its time for instant replay Mr. Selig.

Baseball is already boring enough and long enough
No one wants to see 5 hour baseball games
Unless it is a game deciding play, no instant replay

Who is to say what is a game deciding play? The thing about baseball is you never know. Did anyone think godzilla was going to hit the game winning HR after pedro made tex and arod look like fools?

Mike & Mike are talking about this right now.
And they're both right.
But Selig, you're a tool!
Imagine if the Yankees lost that game last night. When they actually had a chance to put up more runs because Posada was not doubled-up.
Umpires: "Why would Ryan Howard throw to 2nd base when he could've just as easily double-up Posada by stepping on 1st base?"

And yet, they still get it wrong. 6 umpires got together last night, and ALL of them agreed that Howard caught that ball. Absolutely amazing! Not one of them realized that he would've stepped on 1st if he actually caught it. I just can't believe how bad they've been this postseason.

Enough is enough with these blown calls
NEW YORK – Umpires added two more tick marks to their overflowing register of screw-ups Thursday night. These came in Game 2 of a World Series in which Major League Baseball broke from protocol and brought in a specific crew of veteran arbiters to ensure the miscues of the first two rounds wouldn’t dare find their way into games of such importance.
So, uh, oops?

How will mlb do about those blown calls in critical postseason games? I guess Bud will sit it out doing nothing and relax.
