PIRATES (134) - 2 U ... went back and forth on taking the over here ... it bouncing to 8 didn't help me pull that trigger ... not too sure why this is being juiced ... yeah i can see the pirates banging around jackson ... and yeah the cubs hit righties well but the real issue is ... the cubs hit .218 on the road versus how they hit the hitter friendly park at wrigley (i wonder how many times the righties were hit)...rarely do i dig into the numbers when making my picks,
regardless my gut was on the pirates initially against jackson and the pirates no. 1 strength has nothing to do with their offense but how well they pitch at home as well. i'll take gomez to shut down the cubs week road bat backed by a line up who gets a much easier test today in edwin jackson

TWINS/TIGERS - OVER 9 - 2 U ... I don't know they get this in but if they do ... i see a slugger fest here with the wind blowing out in detroit. can't say too much about either starter and the tigers bats have to be the hottest ... porcello has pitching well recently but i don't know if he really pitches the twins below 3 or 4 runs in 6 innings

INDIANS/RED SOX - OVER 9.5 - 10 U POD... same deal, if they get this in ... indians bats are cruising and even though the red sox got a little cold, they are back in fenway with ellsbury leading off , pedroia at and ortiz clean up ... the whole gang is back .... but dempster has been on my fade radar and is starting to live up to it ... the indians hot bats enjoy fenway with some wind at their backs
ANGELS/ROYALS - OVER 8.5 - 4 U ... blanton is the worst pitcher in baseball who started on an opending day roster and the angels bats showed some serious life ... will that stay? it was against two poor pitchers .. but the amount of consistent hitting up and down the line up shows me that they got something going ... this will sail over as well ..
