I couldn't get back on here before the late game which sucks b/c I loved the Dodgers who ended up victorious. No worries though I got lucky to get the OVER in the Cleveland/Detroit game early yesterday and then also luckily sat out on my potential play on the total in the Yankees game.
Today I have to really ask how the Phillies do not come out victorious? They are 15-6 after a loss in Game 1 of a series, have Christopher Sanchez throwing who has been close to untouchable at home, and really do need this game. It will be even harder to see with the shadows and Severino, who is throwing for NYM, is not very good away from Citi Field and hasn't been great down the stretch. He's also worse during the day so many things to consider with the pitching matchup.
On the flip side, one worrisome detail is how good the Mets have been vs. LHP. And Sanchez is a lefty whom they have experience facing. BUT...he's done quite well against them this year (so has Severino vs. the Phillies) and while I'm itching to take this FH UNDER I think I will ride the experiences Phillies who should get it done against the most resilient team in baseball, the Mets.
PHILADELPHIA (-140): It's tough in baseball b/c you often have to drop these types of odds but I think today there is a real discrepancy on the mound. I do fear the Mets coming back vs. the Phillies bullpen so I opted for the ML. Of course, there is always the possibility that I'm praying for a Phillies comeback late but I just don't see it given the pieces and stakes in today's game. That's why I feel strongly about dropping this type of coin.
Hope everyone is having a great season and enjoying the games. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...

Sanchez has been great at home but is not a guaranteed pitcher here. Hes had a long layoff and unlike wheeler can be wild. Not a huge difference between these 2 pitchers. You could be right but will see
Success is never final, failure is never fatal, and it's the courage that counts.

LOVE IT only b/c I know you're a HUGE Mets fan and tbh I much prefer them. Went to Citi Field for the first time this year over my bday weekend when the Dbacks were there. Funny how people were so down on that team and that was literally the series where they started to turn things around.
I might like the Phils here but after they win this game I might put a future on the Mets winning the series. And of course with the Mets comeback potential and the dicey Phils bullpen nothing is certain. Not sure how to play that total b/c Mets so good late innings and vs. LHP so I laid off and am dropping heavy coin here.
I'll be on the lookout for your post too, happy to be back in the game with MLB now that the playoffs started

Another solid win. Brings us to 7-1 ATS in MLB PLAYOFFS.
Typing on phone but tonight I like the Dodgers to get things done again. Not sure how Flaherty is such a short favorite and at home nonetheless but I’ll take it. Yu has been solid since his return and so have the padres in his starts. But home field will prevail and that means the Dodgers will too.
