I think SD could end up getting to Nolasco today.
May 1st through May 24th he threw 5 games with pitch counts of 101, 103, 98, 102, 111 with an ERA of 2.986 over those 5 games. On May 29th he was going on 5 days rest and got shelled by LAD (8 ER over 5 innings).
June 24th through July 15th he threw 5 games with pitch counts of 101, 112, 104, 106, 111 with an ERA of 1.286. He didn’t really have a “break” during the all-star break. He threw on July 9th and then threw again on July 15th (standard time off for him).
Now against SD today he again is going on 5 days rest.
Harang has had 2 bad starts this year May 14th with 7 ER against
I don't really like the trend SD has going on the day after they blank a team, but I'm not sure if the trend means that much. Also concerned about Harang's previous starts against FLA. I really like the +145 but may also play the over. Let me know your thoughts!
