Looking at Red SOx tmrw vs my A's. Masterson is also a ground ball pitcher in a big park You are right about our double AA bats though. Hitting is definitely not there right now. Not a huge fan of pomeranz. Not a single quality start in last 5 straight games. He's pretty much good for at least 1 blowup inning vs anyone right now.  Problem is mastersons fastball vel is way down so hard to depend on him either. At -105 may give them a shot

Dude, it's so much more than the bats. The A's lead the league in errors and another error tonight gave the Sox a run. They have also have 29 gidp which hurt them again tonight. Their team era is in the bottom 10 of the league. Why would anyone play the A's laying chalk? It doesn't make sense. I'd have a hard time taking them at +135, let alone, -135. I got lucky with tonight's game, no doubt, but regardless of the outcome, A's -135 didnt make sense.
And, why would you look to take the Red Sox a night after their entire pen was used? That's the type of garbage Chaloots would do. You know better than that, don't you?
