only one im not liking is doyers. Dbacks hitting too well and raking at home. Will wait on Mets. First inkling was Giants steal one with lincy limiting the mets hits but if line keeps dropping to -105 levels I will be forced to be on them

Why should it be anywhere near 10? Lohse has been solid lately and Bailey's off a no-hitter. And that's just for starters (no pun intended). IMO, it's what it should be. I was expecting an 8 or 8.5.

It was just a question, and your answer is better than my question was worded. I am concerned about any pitcher 'the game after a no hitter.' I can't recall the bounce effect but it shows a huge reversal of form. I believe the Brewers can get to 3 runs ff Homer. Lohse can pitxh to hid ERA also and in hitter friendly Niller, we have a see saw game, decided by the bullpens. I don't want to wager on a bounce for Homer, so I'll pass on the over. Line is correct

Harvey has a lot of notoriety. Public loves the newcomer. The Mutts' pen will be a guge concern, Buster seems to come up at the wrong time every game in Frisco. But MAYBE the Mutts already had a great performance from Harvey, only to see the pen give it away. So maybe that's purged from their system (?)Mets' hitters need to chase timmy outta the game, let's face it. Can they reach 4+ runs by the 7th (4 is enough for Harvey). This SF lineup was no hit by Bailey and struck out 9 times. Giants know how to win tight games at home, and they are probably desperate right now.

I should have waited for your POD, but I am going 1U on Dodgers ML tomorrow. Might be my only play unless you post a nice POD
Need to see lineups. Uribe is not making good decisions at the plate. He left men on base 3 times. Good thing he didn't grd out in his last AB, and left room for Ellis to connect on that dramatic 3 run gapper. The "Beat LA" chants will be ringing. Leaning Doyers anyway...

The term 'Doyers' refers to the fact that Doyer Stadium was built in a Mex-Amer neighBorhood.. Also, Mex Amercans often mispronounce Dogers because they cannot say the 'dg; sound (if Spanish is their firsy language). The Doyers displaced thousands in C havez Ravine to build it (maybe not so nice). But nowadays Mex-Americans are their most loyal fanbase. Yasiel Puig is great, but the hype DOES NOT compare to "Fernando-mania."
I'm liking the Doyers in Arizona. I think they are amped up for this game (both teams are), esp after the win (wow San Fran fans went home in shock--ho awesome that must feel to do that to fans abusing you all game, n.ot giving you a chance, mocking you, cheering your mistakes and men LOB??)

Always enjoy your write ups. Must respect. Only thing that concerns me is why is the dodger line so low especially with greinke on the mound versus delgado. Looks like a trap. Also line looks fishy with harvey versus lincecum... these games look to easy....good luck with your picks either way... avid follower...

Season high? Brew Crew have Beaten Bailey a majority of times, and will have success today. I think the play is either Mil or over 8, or trap play on Bailey, or no-play.

Bravos ought to jump all over the fill in the blamk pitcher for the popular Nolasco. Bravos don't dik around w/ teams they should dominate (like the Cards tippy toed around the fish and the Cubs in recent weeks)
Cabrera luvs playing in Cle--he leads the majors in walks, so EVERY TIME he comes up to the plate "something" is gonna happen. 13-0 is a bad number. Time to give this guy the 14-0, and call him the best--the best fastball in the biz. His last bad performance was against the Lastros (go figure), but he has not taken a loss in his last 10 starts, and he will put the Tigers in a position to win. This has blowout written all over it, payback for punching around Fister.

Yeah I get it. Harvey is the real deal. He is not jerky like Starsbourg--he looks and acts like a Curt Shilling, and will oneday be Mr Clutch in a playoff and W.S. I just think Timmy will keep the Mutts sadly off the big hit, and the Giants--as bad as they have been on the road--are still very lucky at home. And I have a healthy mistrust of all public darlings (that includes Justin Bieber and the Kardashian floozies). I lean Giants here after all is said and done, and think they can pull off some crazy come-from behind victory off the Mutts late in this one. No play
Phils/Nats O 9
Haren will get knocked around, and Lannan is not a mystery pitcher either, so expecting big hits here. Might be one of the better totals play.
Mil Brewers
Really think Mil can get to 4 runs today. Mil TT O 3.5 looks like something to reach up and grab.
LAD ml -115
Look, you get Matt Kemp back in the lineup, and he must be sooo eager to go after the two days off. Greinke is a head case, and he's already thrown 4 beanballs and provoked bench clearing brawls. These two teams have some bad blood goin on, and the fans will be loud tonight. I simply must have some action on this one, and it will be Doyers or no play.
Away Runs -160
Linesmakers see the road teams as capable of blowing out some homies--I see Atl and Det as the 'spotlight' roadies they are eyeballin for the trouncing. That's a decent price. Hate 'exotics' (props) but this one could be worthwhile for a pinch of action.

Thanks for the words, and for following. Skepticism is good when you play the lines. Just don't get spooked off winning plays. It isn't about tricking linesplayers, as much as the players looking for a gameplan to undo another team's obvious strengths (like a better starting pitcher). Players know their pitcher aint as good--and they like the challenge to win anyway. I'd take Greinke over Delgado to take the ball in a game 7 of the W.S. and I'd take the Doyers' lineup over the DBacks'. But I undertsnad the crazies at home, the energy can undo a better roster and pitcher on paper. SF is not hitting. They will be lucky to get 2 runs by the 7th inn. Soooo, do they win 2-1??? Tall order. No play on Mets, but I'll take my chances on the Doyers in a tuff, tuff environment. GL

No love from me--I just wanna see them kick some a$$ on this grd ball pitcher, avoid DPs, hit the gaps, run and score. And I want Scherzer to throw a shutout. No love.

Albeit only 4 IP after last year's no hitter Bailey didnt allow any runs and only 4 hits against St. Louis.
Bailey did rather well, scattering 10 friggin hits. He had baserunners on every inn. Only 4 runs for the Brewers. I never played it. I did have Brews over 3.5.
