Cardinals: Play to -124. Haren has tossed some respectable ball this year, but on a good day Lynn is much better. The key here though rests in the consistent productivity of the Cardinals offense versus right handed pitching. The Cardinals have the best win percentage in baseball, considering they are two games under .500 versus lefties (make a note of that). It is astounding they are 40-15 versus right handed pitching 72.7%. In recent play they have given a quality offensive performance versus righty in seven of their last eight games and have posted a 5.24 oera coupled with a 7-1 record in that span. Only a hiccup versus Pelfrey in Minnesota prevents them from being 10-0 last ten. The Marlins counter that with an offense that given just two quality performances versus righty in their last seven and those were against DeSclafani and Phelps; nice pitchers but not in Lynn’s class.

Solid call by Key.
Josh, the pitching is a major factor, but not the only one. You can't lose sight of the fact that the St. Louis Cardinals are the best team in baseball right now and you want to take the Marlins?
