Braves: Play to -115: No contest on the hill and I think I feel a slightly
better pulse from the Braves offense right now. Phillies have the mathematical
edge in the offense but not enough to overcome the pitching matchup
Rays: Play to -117: Rodriguez has been an attention getter for the Red Sux
but there is a lack of appreciation in the line for how much better the Rays
are versus lefty, and how much worse off the Sux are versus righty.
Giants: Play to -115: Everyone knows how good Mad Bum is, but very few
appreciate how bad Nick Martinez really is and he faces a Giants lineup just
custom built for him. The Yankee series really stressed the Rangers bullpen, so
who are they going to call on for long distance relief? I suspect they leave
Nick out there to take his beating.
Diamondbacks: Play to +113: Feldman fans can get a last
look at him tonight as there is no way he remains in the rotation with Kazmir
and Fiers aboard. Rubby is not one to make your heart go pitty-pat but he has
looked a little more competent lately and did an outstanding job versus the
Mariners in Seattle, and they have been hitting righties very well lately.
Indians: Play to +100: Not only is Salazar far better than Graveman but they are
headed in opposite directions. I am not crazy about backing the Indians offense
for a 2 run Margin, but that is where the bonus bucks are and 2-0 or 3-1 is a
very real possibility tonight.
Dodgers: Play to -216: Don’t kid yourself; Mattingly set this one up when he
scratched Kershaw versus Oakland Wednesday. He figured (rightfully) that he was
better off with Bolsinger versus Chavez (and got away with it) and Kershaw
versus the much better Santiago. He also got away with having both teams
swinging at a lefty tonight, another distinct advantage for the Dodgers.
If that is too many
games, or too much money, for some folks I would not suggest tossing out a game
or two. I think it better to reduce the wagers to a comfortable level, and
always FLAT PLAY, do NOT “add the juice” to favorites.
That is an attempt to control profit, and profit cannot be controlled, only RISK
can be controlled.

I think what many bettors fail to realize is that what you provide is information. At the end of the day, we individually are the only ones responsible for our bets and it is up to us to decide whether to lock in or not. No blame is put on you if we are to lose.
