mentality
$359 Rangers
-129, Montgomery (18-4) / Holland (0-1)
Rangers: Play to -156: Holland is a heck of a chucker when you can keep
him healthy, as he appears to be now. Montgomery got off to an excellent start
with the Mariners but now appears to be sliding as his YTD rating of 63.9 has
slipped to just 58.9 his last 5 starts. The real keys here though are in
offensive performance as the Mariners have scored just 5 of 13 quality
performances since the ASB and producing just 3.8 earned offensive runs per 9
versus the 13 lefties. The Rangers counter that with 5 of 10 quality
performances since the ASB and are producing 5.79 earned offensive runs. There
is also the rebound effect of having lost to Iwakuma last night (no shame
there) and the fact the Mariners get to head home again after another long road
trip. They travel more miles per year than any other professional sports team
and have also played the most number of O.T. games in the majors this year, 19.
That is a lot of fatigue and I don’t expect them to be on top of their game
today.

Reds: Play to -109: I still think Guthrie is the luckiest guy on the
planet this year with an “official” W-L record of 8-7 in spite of a 5.63 era
and being just 7-15 in quality starts in my rankings. He has run into either
another dud pitcher or his offense has bailed him out at least 5 times, not
even crediting what the bullpen has done for him as he averages only 5.2
innings per start. Today both bullpens are taxed thanks to that 13 inning
affair last night and other than Hochevar I don’t see reliable long distance
relief being available. In a hitters park Guthrie should get rocked and the
Royals offense is unfamiliar with Sampson, who has done nothing to be ashamed
of yet.

Can Key or 1 of his followers explain how he bets 2 games yesterday for 360 a piece, goes 1-1 on picks but loses a minus 230 play, but only loses 17 dollars for the day.
He went from 7023.00 down to 7006.00
Unless am missing something, hes using some pretty messed up math calculations in figuring out his figure.

He flat bets those amounts. He is not betting "to win" that amount. He merely lost the 5 cent vig on the Mets bet after going 1-1. Pretty easy to figure out really.
