Brewers -112, Jungmann (12-4) Conley (1-5)
I have no idea why anyone would like the Marlins
today. Jungmann has been one of the great finds this season and Conley does not
belong in the major leagues. Put that together with the facts the Brewers are
19-14 versus lefties this year, 13-7 last 20, and have popped 5 straight for an
average of 8.03 earned runs per 9, and
what is not to love?

This game jumped out at me as well. The Brew Crew smoked them last night 9-1 and Braun has been hot. Conley hasn't been quite as bad as you say - "the rookie left-hander has worked at least five innings in three straight starts, with an ERA of 3.94 over that span. He struggled to go five two previous starts before that." Still, I'm with you with Jungmann, he's been making me dough this season.
Let's get this Milwaukee!

I hit too. Good value bet. Milwaukee has a team batting average of .235 versus lefties but I still like the bet. Jungmaan is an ace and this kid Conley is a below average lefty with an ERA over 5. I love the fact that Milwaukee has been pounding the ball lately and has won 7 out of their last 9 games.

Because baseball is a cruel sport. You can pitch good and still get a loss. You can pick the better pitcher, better team and still lose your money. Smyly vs Wolf?
Jungmann setting rookie record for Brewers; Conley has been on a decent run himself.
I think Marlins pull out a W today.

Thank you for taking the time to post this. It's clear, at least to me, that the best time to follow KeyElement was the 1st half of the season. Post all-star break has been trending in a downward spiral.
Has anyone here tracked KeyElement's previous MLB seasons? Does he always peter out post all-star break? Just curious. If he he's had similar swoons in previous seasons, it's best not to follow him and perhaps better to go opposite? Thoughts?
