Nationals: Fading the pitcher fresh off the DL. Yes Hellickson got rocked against the marlins but we'll chalk it up to the illness and he bounces back here. Bullpen edge goes to Nats in a close low-run game.
Yankees: Contradicting my logic above but Orioles are hot garbage. Basically an all-righty lineup against Tanaka and even if O's bats jump on him, Yankees will be prepping for the HR derby a la Cashner with a lot of hits. Don't use yesterday's win against the Yankees as any light that they will repeat. Orioles hit CC well and and he was not at his best. Expect Tanaka to be in good form coming into this one with run support.
RedSox: Gallardo's shining away resume includes a 2.08 WHIP and 9.05 ERA. Tonight he is up against the hottest hitting team in baseball who starts a bullpen pitcher the Rangers have not seen. I except Velasquez to make it through 5-6 innings and the Sox bullpen will save the lead.
Phillies: This matchup is tricky because we have two pitchers called up for their first big-league start. ESPN writes this matchup could turn into a pitchers duel but I think it will be about who has the better offense as both teams struggle to get runs in yesterdays double header. Mets suck everywhere they go and are a shitty home team. Hopefully the trend continues.
L10: Phillies 7-3 against RHP // L14: Mets are 4-10 against RHP
Best of luck if you tail!
