What do you think of the astros rangers game tonight ??
Thank you sir from all of us at covers
Most on Covers today theorized that Max Scherzer would struggle after the monthlong layoff. They were right. I’m now focusing on rooting for Christian Javier to be his usual tough road dog self.

Bouncing pitches to the .143-hitting Martin Maldonado is on Scherzer. So is letting Maldonado rip one into left.

maybe not, but when a bettor takes your analysis into account before placing a bet, it sure feels a whole lot better than picking teams out of a hat

you bounce pitches in expectation your catcher is going to block it. It wasn’t a fastball. Then you get flustered and yes, base rip on the pitcher. I was gonna say it was the Center Fielder’s fault, but thank you for correcting me.

I placed those two bets expecting Max Scherzer to be Max Scherzer. Not vintage Max, but good enough. But no. We got 39-year old Max Scherzer whose arm failed him in October again. The two-out 2-run single he gave up to Martin Maldonado gave the Astros a 3-0 lead in the 2nd inning, but that hit was bigger than that. From that moment on the evening felt like it belonged to the Astros, road warriors once again.
The Astros are now 40-45 at home and 54-30 on the road. They wouldn’t have home field advantage in a series against the Phillies and they’re probably okay with that!
