Funny how not one single American has ever reported any of the so called msg symptoms after consuming any of these very popular American foods over the many years they have all been around and all of them have always contained msg.

The crazy thing about our society is that so many believe the “system” is there to assist them. They trust, they believe and they assume that since they are in the good ole USA, everything will be fine. I hate to include this with the topics discussed but if so many are naive to this, think about the system when it comes to money and trade. The stock market, politics, healthcare, and yes.....the books and the leagues. So many actually believe that these industries are regulated fully and they actually trust that it isn’t all about money. People believe the high paid crooks who tell everyone integrity is priority one when realktbuts money they care about. The country salivates in taking advantage of the people and it’s crazy to me that anyone who pays taxes and has a lawn of their own in this country believes they arent being suckered. The pharmaceutical companies, government and most, not all doctors care only about what fills their pockets and when you know this, why would anyone actually believe things are pure. They aren’t. If our government and our trade systems aren’t then why are lesser areas any different? The books and leagues are tied together just like our governement and big companies are when it comes to doing whatever it takes to making money off the sheep. Look at our government with opioids. They’d rather push these than legalize marijuana. Why because the government knows how to get their cut. Marijuana....it’s not legal because they haven’t figured out a way yet to screw people over and charge through the teeth on it. It will happen though. Why do opioids get pushed? It’s the lazy approach, the easy approach and yes, the approach that pays. It’s the approach that produces addiction which turns into residual profit for the rich.
In working at a high school, Ive actively sought out that all vending machines be replaced by whole food options. The sugar drinks and the bs served there is few and far between but it took a long process to weed that crap out. Involving the parents and giving the kids the power to pick their fuel rather than allow the big companies and district big whigs who want to fill their pockets is key. It takes a village. Giving the parents the data and the letting them know the benefits to eating right is key as well. Involving kids in projects of how advertisements and social media forums feed into ourvh with obesity epidemic allows kids the opportunity to see just how corrupt and careless our country is when it comes to kids. The governement doesn’t care but once parents understand they have the power because they fill the halls with their kids in schools....that is where the power lies. One school at a time, one district at a time....it’s a process but as evident with what I’ve seen first hand, it’s possible to put health first in schools when really it ties in greatly to cognitive and social success.

It's all bullshitt....No, MSG isn't bad for you. Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), an additive best known for its use in Chinese restaurants, has had the thumbs up from scientists for quite some time now. But consumers still think of it as dangerous, and many claim to have bad reactions to it.Aug 25, 2014
I do concur I grew up my family cooked with & used MSG sporadically I'm still here

Could be any number of things stemming from an unsanitary kitchen or outdated meats and/or produce or could also be as simple as some puzzies with tummy aches. There has never been one stitch of medical evidence from any private doctor or any hospital substantiating any such claims.People In China living longer than people in America and they continue to ingest MSG in large quantities throughout their lives. Zero claims have ever been made in China of any of the complaints some Americans have made. Over a billion people never once claiming any negative effects is a pretty big sample size wouldn't you say? In fact outside of America no one has ever complained about MSG.

Exactly.....but the parents should (but often don't, unfortunately) as parents, already be proactive with their own children with nutrition, exercise, etc. - just as they are in choosing the right educational, social, financial, spiritual etc. opportunities. It's called being a parent - but waaay too much, those duties are sloughed off on teachers and schools.
Kudos to you for your efforts. Here's hoping more and more parents take command of their own kid's well being.

Yup, pretty disgusting isn't it. It's not an experiment though my friend, it is a plan and the plan is to keep the country fat, medicated, lazy, stupid, fearful and angry and they are doing an incredible job in all departments presently. I'm in Canada and not judging, same crap is going on here
not judging

As a person with 6 different athletic training certifications including one in exercise nutrition
I like reading this. It's nice to see that some people are aware of their bodies. The more active you are the less negative effect sugar will have on you, especially consumed earlier in the day, because we will burn it off and it will therefore not become bad carbs and then non storable fat. It does make for good fuel, particularly for the brain. A healthy active male should have about 9 teaspoons of sugar a day and a female 6. Ofcourse we are talking about good natural sugar here The average American consumes more than 20 teaspoons a day and the ladies are averaged into that number.
so what are you doing on a gambling website with all of those certifications ?

Hi Vito...just can't help yourself eh? Mental Health is no laughing matter, I wish you would seek help, sincerely. I hope everything is well in your life, or as well as can be, and I wish only health and happiness for you and your family. This will be my only response to you. Godspeed

So you’re saying all scientists can be trusted? That’s a laugh. Lots of scientific studies and data are contrived to prove theories being tested.
High Sodium intake can lead to high blood pressure. Everything in moderation I suppose. For me, I avoid all chemically modified additives. For some, msg may not be a problem. ( imo. I will never believe long term consumption of msg does not have health consequences). In any case, what is factual is that there are no health benefits to consuming foods with msg.

Of all the drugs in America, sugar is the #1 killer. Yes sugar is a drug, how many people know that?
I've played sports my whole life. Now in my age I'm relegated to just 12 inch softball and I still go balls out, even after a few beers.
My job is physical, been doing it for 16 years, needles to say I've been active w/ exercise for a long time.
Morning starts with a coffee and 2 bananas. Got an apple, watermelon, almonds and black berries in my lunch box every day.
What makes me sick is seeing a fat out of shape office worker going into a convenient store in the morning and buying Monster and Mountain Dew. I feel like someone needs to help these kind of people. It's really sad.
GL on your bets btw

So then you believe consuming Campbells Chicken Noodle soup has longterm health effects? Or the other popular North American foods that have msg in them?? Why has no one outside of America ever complained of any of these MSG symptoms? Billions of people on earth consume it regularly and have never experienced the complaints targeting solely Chinese food restaurants in North America. No doctor or hospital has ever confirmed any health problems related to msg. People in countries that consume it regularly as flavoring in their foods live longer than people in America. Anyway each to their own. They're ok pushin soda pop and hot dogs and pounds of refined sugar in general on you though lol.
