Baseball is the best sport to bet because of the following reasons (my opinion):
1. the key determining factor of whether you win or lose is primarily the pitcher ( less variables compared to other sports)
2. You can having a losing record and still be profitable
3. For the most part year in and year out - the worst teams will win 60 games - lot's of room to pick spots and exploit the line.
4. lot's of trends in baseball because there are so many games
5. you got action all day (lot's of day games) and night
6. no clock
7. recognizing even the best pitchers can't win every start - room to exploit these situations
8. the beauty of the game

My 2 cents about baseball betting. I only play RL's. And I pick a team who I think will LOSE, rather than I think will WIN. I take that team, who I think will lose, and play the team's RL who is playing against them. Baseball games are absolutely crazy. What can happen, will happen. Baseball is a marathon, take it day to day. That's it. My first play. Opening night March 31st, Rangers -1.5.. Then day 2, Detroit -1.5. GL
