This is what I am hearing as of now. The Yu Darvish may have been a smoke screen. Rangers offering 6 and 52 while YU wants 5 and 100. They wanted to show Boras and Fielder they are willing to go another dirction if their demands remain ridiculous. The word is that they are trying to get Yu "Cheap" but regardless have full intentions on signing Prince Fielder. My buddies exact quote was "IF we sign Yu for a reasonable amount we are 50-50 on signing Fielder but if Yu doesnt sign then we are bout 75-25 on signing Fielder." As of now they are not unhappy with a Holland, Ogando, Feliz, Colby, Harrison rotation with spot starts from Feldman. My question is who will be our 8th inning guy? (I am guessing Nathan will be the closer) So that means Adams in the 8th. I know they love Kirkmans potential as well and when Lowes healthy he can bring it.

well worries i still think as i've said the whole offseason that Fielder goes to Washington. Though i'm suprised he's still out there. The nats have 10 Boras clients on their 25 man roster. Of course that's my opinion. He's probably better served in the A.L. The A.L. west will be a must watch with or without fielder. I can't wait for baseball season

I have had fairly accurate info all year going back to my other thread including the Nathan signing almost a month before it happened. Nothing certain just what I am hearing

Darvish wants another 5 and 100?!?!? Sp he expects the Rangers to shell out a total of $152 million for 5 years, more than 30 per year!? The highest paid player ever? I think he could be special, but apparently he's also insane.

Pena now in talks with Daniels too. In the last 5 days not only have they signed Yu but also met with Fielder, Pena and Oswalt. If the Rangers dont sign any of above I can guarantee they make a huge deal around trade deadline
