While we are all here for fun, as Iron Mike stated, this is a day to remember and to forget; however nothing will ever get me to forget the memories etched my mind from that day and the friends and friends of friends that were lost. I too lived in NYC on 9/11. I will never forget the somber feeling in NYC, the sense of helplessness without being able to help much and the indescribable smell that emanated throughout the city for almost a week. God Bless the armed forces and everyone fighting for our freedoms that allow us to enjoy a life of freedom and the ability to enjoy even derelict hobbies such as this.
PHILADELPHIA +102 (1.75 UNITS) - In 16 of Jamie Moyer's last 17 starts, he has allowed 3 or less runs. The Brewers are not a great baseball team. They are weak defensively and have a mediocre pen. There is no way they should be favored on the road at Philly regardless of Ben Sheets. In the last 41 days, Milwaukee has played only 11 games against teams with winning records and are 4-7 in those games. Sheets was pulled early in his 9/1 start due to injury and came back last start and threw 120 innings. It could affect him here. Interesting to see what the Phils do as both Stairs and Burrell have hit Sheets well and they have been platooning.
SAN DIEGO +111 (1.75 UNITS) - Cain is showing serious regression. In his last 2 starts, he has lasted 11.7 innings and allowed 18 hits, 9 earned runs and a 5:6 K:BB ratio. His strikeout numbers are on a serious decline. In addition, he the Giants are 2-8 in his last 10 starts against SD. Geer has looked more than capable in his first two starts.
OAKLAND -113 (1.75 UNITS)
Good Luck!
