 Yea he was born there but played high school ball etc outside houston Texas… playing houston is his homecoming game per se … either way I can’t trust springs

Last year he went 0-2 in the regular season against TB…. The game at Tampa was a score of 9-1. I wouldn’t rely to much on the birthplace angle but it’s something interesting to know for sure.

 

I used that for Noah Syndergaard’s first start at Texas early this season and he looked awesome ….

 Springs, lefty, 27.1 IP,  27 K's, ERA 1.32, only 15 hits surrendered, WHIP 0.80. A pleasant surprise with all the injuries on the staff.

I saw the Rays had been pretty dominant in Springs start and never had to come from behind yet. Now the question? Do the Rays sack up or just let Yankees roll over them?
