 The dude just got called up from triple A to face a potent rested lineup against an ace pitcher in a road playoff game after his team just played a doubleheader.  Those are the reasons not to back him.

 We have all subscribed to this type of thinking. I personally have probably lost thousands doing that but I finally realized the law of independent variables is true. Those four games today are completely independent of each other they have no influence on one another. Cap each individual game on its own merits not on outcomes of other games involving unrelated teams. 
All that being said, this game is not over yet so who knows.
