No Respect for the Cards and Lohse

Question

I know this Medlen kid has been a terrific reliever and then a starter in july.

The braves beat Lohse in may and supposedly he thought he was tipping pitches in that game and made an adjustment and went on a nice run after that.

it seems like there is no way that the braves could lose chipper's last game right especially with medlen on the mound after his dominating starts of the Marlins, Astros, Mets, Padres, Wash(give him credit there), Padres again, Rockies, Mets, Wash(give him credit again) Marlins, Marlins and Mets.

i mean it's still the major leagues but i think i would feel better about things if he was facing a few better teams in there to pump up those stats.

Anyways at +155 with Lohse and the veterans you have on the cardinals in this game anything can happen. any pitcher can get caught up in the moment and have a few bad innings when the pressure is on.

I understand that it was against for the most part easy competition but to only give up 8 ER in 78 2/3 IP is still damn impressive

He did face the nationals twice, and pitched pretty damn well against them both times. And they can hit.

14 innings, 12 hits, 1 FREAKING RUN!

A team by the way that Lohse has struggled with this year.

Major league hitters are good, no matter how bad a lineup looks. If it were that easy then pitchers in the NL west would all have sparkling ERA's. But they don't.

You got to have respect for the defending champions.  But this is a different year.  C. carpenter coming off disabled list, no Pujols.  I think the miracle of last year does not repeat.  Kyle was never a no. 1 IMO and I do not think he will get it done.  I will play the under.

well guys. i&#x27;m leaning the rangers tonight. still looking it all over but something tells me they are going to win like 10-4 or some crazy shit like that and take 2 weeks of frustration out on saunders. i may just go on the over and be done with it.

as bad as i hate to say it i think the orioles season is over. not because i like the rangers( i actually hate them as much or more as the yankees) i think saunders is about to take a crap tonight
