Oakland?

Can anyone tell me why there is so much steam for Oakland and why they are now - 164 favorites? I know the Royals are bad, but is Oakland better? Starting pitcher is only a fraction of the line. Both bullpens suck, Kansas City has a better offense. Baffled by this line.

 Oakland at home is about 25 cents.. montas at home his home away slash is extremely different .. he’s a cy young candidate pitcher at home why he finished 4th in the AL last year .. neither team can hit.. like kcs bats better just because Perez .. lynch isn’t very good but can put together a good start.. montas goes deep into games at home lessening the bullpen.. that’s to high to play Oakland but the line is about right 

Lynch/Montas is not a "small" part of the line, it is the whole line. Montas is undervalued and Lynch is always one pitch from disaster. The offenses are both poor to say the least. I make Montas -192, so maybe the line on Oakland is cheap. Remember, no matter what you are offered before the game the "value" always lies with the winner. PASS is my advice. BOL

 Oakland hits Has found some success against lefties.  Montas owns a 21-10 lifetime record against teams under .500.

He’s 2-1 in five games against Royals with 3.08 ERA.  

Lynch is 2-7 currently and sports a 6.5 ERA.  His last 8 starts he is 0-5 with 6.39 ERA.  His past 3 games Lynch has surrendered 16 runs in just 15 innings. 

As I stated above; Oakland has had success against lefties this year and they are coming off a win at Boston.  Personally, I’m on Oakland and Montas to get it tonight!  Oakland-RL will be my play.   The books know that the public will be on Oakland tonight as they should be IMO.  So they have inflated the line to sway action on Royals.  

It's all about the gay pride night. They're honoring some former gay player. I won't say MLB is gonna fix this one but it will certainly be a bad look if Oakland loses tonight and MLB is deathly afraid of being called homophobic. The Royals lineup looks pretty decent tonight compared to Oakland so you might be able to get a better number live... Up to you.

Montas 47 pitches through 2 innings. Again, no way this should have been such a steep line.
