nathan is lights outs, has been lights out way before papelbon. 4-3 game in the bottom of the ninth i would want nathan out there inside of papelbon he had howard guessing the whole a bat i never seen howard to confused and so late..
nathan one of the best closer who flies under the radar every year
You must miss approx. 33% of Ryan Howards AB's during the course of the season

You know whats funny is rivera has been around since 96 dominating, not 2004 when boston started to hit him a bit. So you easily forget the other 8 years. Besides he happens to face bos more than others so hes had a few more blown saves but still overall does well against them. Nathan has been the 2nd best closer for a few year no as his stats prove it

Rivera is 21 for 30 in save opportunities against boston? rivera has been saving for 14 more years and still has a better save percentage.
riveras career save %- 92% papelbons career save %- 88%
let me guess your a front-running boston fan and started liking them when they won the world series? rivera has been saving games almost automatic even before papelbon hit college and even before you knew the boston redsox exsisted.
i would take out one of the games clutchest closers of all the time over a classless guy who think hes the best and has one of the worst whips you can possibly see in a closer.
