Nola is the original farm system pitcher. He’s been with Philly through the original struggle. Out of respect, he was getting the starter Nod politically. Wheeler is better than him by a respectful small margin though. This favors Philly a lot because Nola is capable of pitching a crazy game and then wheeler can potentially feed of that energy if it happens.
