 As a lifelong cubs fan this is the type of game they usually lay an egg except for maybe  in 2016. i just have that feeling i've seen it too many times. they're teasing us cubs fans with this hot streak and push to get a wild card. it's a beautiful day for a mlb game on a holiday and the cubs are going to send the fans home from wrigley all disappointed.

I’m liquid, but let me tell you a quick funny story before I lock in on this game. So, whenever I’m in action and getting buried, it’s like my bad luck sets off some kind of radar at home. My wife and kids start in with, “You know what we need?” and “Can we buy this?” Every time I’m down, that’s when the shopping lists come out.

Seems whatever Cubs need they get. Unreal hitting they get it. Good pitching...they get it.
