I'm back again without bias and trolling to deliver some ideas on a tough game to cap.
This game is rough but lets go through the facts.
A) Pitching matchup here very much favors LAD. Always ask, what is the chance each pitcher throws a gem? Ryu has shown he can do this more consistently then lackey.
B) Ryu throws demonstrably less walks and HR then Lackey.
C) Bullpen is pretty evenly split in my opinion.
D) LAD is just a better offensive team, honestly STL should be down 2-0.
E) LAD has more speed on the basepaths. dee gordon is a nightmare.
F) Managerial talent is definitely on the Cards side as well as experience.
G) Power definitely goes to LAD, the lineup can hurt you a lot faster then STL, (but never count these emo clowns out!!!)
all in all Lackey is going to get hit for 5 or 6 today because he just inst that good and registered most of his wins in a god awful division playing with boston. (super easy to "look good against NYY TOR and TBR pure trash teams)
I am basing my bet on the hunch that Lackey is not capable of a gem today vs a deadly lineup and Ryu has all the tools needed to give up 2 runs in 7 innings.

vs. ARI/SD: 0.69 WHIP / 0.80 ERA (44.2 IP) vs. everyone else: 1.40 WHIP / 4.44 ERA (107.1 IP)

I am a Cardinals fan and don't try to hide it. I don't like my being fan interfere w/ money though! I feel like the side bet is probably the Dodgers in this one. Personally, I like the over on 7 FG and will probably play the over F5.

Crawford, Gonzo and Uribe have seen Lackey in AL. I think Ryu will neutralize Carpenter leading off. LA may get beat tonight but i like my chances with them.
