I am friends with his sister moreso cuz I was childhood friends with her ex husband and this was a real shitty deal. He had obviously been fighting some demons for a while and it seems he had some kind of pill/drug problem. That is just my speculation from seeing the family posts on facebook I dont at all wanna seem Im speaking for them. Real sad deal to see a guy who had so much feel he needed to take his own life, the amount of people who loved the guy was overwhelming.

On a much lighter note it gives me a chance to tell a funny story that was relayed to me from the ex husband. Jason as we all know was a elite player in the game in his 5-8 year prime. My buddy obviously knew him pretty descent from being married to his sister so one day Jason is in town and he calls my buddy to ask if he wants to join him and his friend at the local strip club. My buddy is like hell yeah Id love to go thinking this is gonna be awesome. So he goes to meet Jason and "his buddy"

My friend shows up at the strip club and Jason's buddy is James Hetfield lead singer of Metallica LOL. My buddy said he just shit his pants, he was already well past being starstruck by Jason but he said he was just speechless at the thought of hanging with Hetfield, said it took him an hour to catch his break.

Always thought that was a great great story, sad to be telling it on this thread but still. RIP GUNIT
