5-4 for +2.67 on Tuesday. Low and behold, I would of middle'd that Arrieta prop if I listened to my gut...
Cleveland ML(-127) *2.00/1.57
DeSclafani/Plesac listed
I'm a fan of Plesac. @Boston, @CWS, home vs the Yankees isn't exactly the best way to get a guy introduced into the MLB. And he executed. He uses 3 pitches(4 if you count the occasional curveball), including a nice change up. Wind is blowing out and he's a ground baller with a fairly low line drive %.
DeSclafani is more or less a 2 pitch pitcher. Fastball and slider mostly, 14.5% curve ball usage but it's not fooling many when he throws it. His biggest problem through out his career has been facing lefty's, and the Tribe have many to platoon. He is a fly ball guy with a higher line drive% and hard hit% than Plesac.
The Tribe offense is starting to find themselves of late. I won't hold anything against them with facing Castillo today, he can do what he did to any lineup. But the tribe still won in the end, and that mojo carries over, winners of 5 of their last 7.
I think the Tribe is cheap because Plesac has made only 3 starts. No one really knows how he will pan out, and most expect a blow up game at any moment. The Reds are his easiest challenge to date. We'll see.
Good Luck

If I listen to my gut the only thing I hear is rumbling, which usually proceeds directly to my bowels, but you guys probably didn't need to hear that. Sorry.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

I was about to call an under in Boston, sac, but the umpire is all for the hitters. He must like really long games but I don't know why;these guys are not paid overtime.
I agree on the Rangers being the right side though.

I waited for lineups, the catchers especially

how jose ramirez is not in the minors is beyond me. the man has a .198 BA for the season and somehow is still in the line up, killing any chance of advancing what little base runners they do manage to get on base. i get the money, but come on already. there's obviously some psychological/mechanical issues that need to be fixed
No team is as good as it looks when winning nor are they as bad as they look when losing

Their outfield sucks. Why they let Brantley go was is beyond me

Another prove me wrong bet. A kid called up from AA making his first start for the fish. Maxes out at 92 on his fastball, good curve from what I've read. Small dude at 185.
The Cards haven't been hitting rhp all to well recently, but have faced some tough comp from the right side prior to yesterday(E. Hernandez). They put up some runs yesterday, let's see if the hitting is contagious vs the rookie.
Hitters 1 through 4 are going to be a test right out of the gate where his nerves will be on high.
The Marlins pen sucks, ump Jim Wolf is a hitters ump.
