Obviously Sale is a beast on the mound and Baz has shown some real promise, as well. But Chris Sale has more data, and he is impressive. I don't look at Postseason stats I only look at the current season stats because I feel like that's the true trend. Prior years post season stats are so long ago. So as it sits right now, I can see Boston finding a way to get at Baz early on and catch a lead on TB. TB has a very solid bullpen, if they decide to pull Baz for whatever reason, they could literally just pick a name out of a hat and pull a good, well rounded pitcher to put on the mound. Not to disregard Boston's bullpen it's just, IMO of course, TB has more dynamic pitchers and because of that, IMO this is why Boston, with sale on the mound is currently +120

One thing to consider, familiarity, the Red Sox have never faced Baz while the Rays are quite familiar with Sale, no secrets there. The advantage for the Rays tonight is the BP, they didn't have to use Fairbanks, Kittredge, or McHugh, their best relievers. This game should favor Tampa on the back end figuring Sales won't pitch anymore than 6 innings and of course it's well known how well the Rays have been offensively from the 7th inning on, best in the majors.

Boston needs that extra oomph that JD Martinez brings to the offense. Totally forgot about that don't know why I thought he was playing yesterday. Didn't monitor the lineups thoroughly enough lol. 0 runs despite putting up more hits than Tampa is absolutely pathetic lol I wouldn't be surprised if Tampa goes up 2-zip. Sale isn't dominating like he used to be and his postseason stats arent anywhere near his regular season stats. He had maybe one good pitching game during the Red Sox championship run
Sip on that plus money honey!

I really like tampa today more than yesterday. Like russo said. The rays havent used their best bullpen arms yet and the rays are like the giants. They just win baby! Sale is great, but not as great as he used to be.
