The problem the Giants have now is tired arms. All their pitchers have been overtaxed because of starters being out and pitching bullpen games. It's sad to see but I see it. If they can't rest their bullpen and give their starters more rest they're toast. It's been a good ride and I'm not giving up on them but the writing is on the wall. 
A team is only as good as its starting pitching they say. The Giants are worn out both starting (oft injured or sick with Covid) and bullpen pitching with having to try and fill the void. It's obvious to me. They have great hitting but you're always going to face great pitching at some point. The Dodgers are strong in all phases of their pitching game now. It's going to be a struggle for the Giants from this point forward no matter how you slice the pie.

Name a star on the team? Buster Posey? Hasn’t been clutch in the playoffs in 10 years. Longoria? Over the hill and went 0-l for his last 27 with RISP including 0-8 in this series. Crawford? Wade? They are a team of average talent. No stars and it showed up. They had a great run and were lucky all season. Guess it helps when you play the Padres, Rockies, and Diamondbacks a zillion times who are all a complete joke.
