May God bless you and your family during this terrible time in your life, T-9.  You're  the classiest guy in this forum and I'm sure the reason you're the gentleman that you are is because of the way you mom and dad brought you up.  They're together now, as my mom and dad are. It will help you get through this just knowing they're together and looking down on you and your family. Stay strong for all those around you who need your shoulder now.  Leaving for Sunday Mass with my grand daughter soon and we'll pray and light a candle for your dad and your family. Just try and remember you haven't really lost your best friend, he'll always be with you in your heart. I have been following you for quite some time. I respect your picks and usually dont make a selection until i've read your post. I also lost my father a few years ago. It is a very tough thing to go through. Be strong and God Bless you and your family.

You seem like a stand up guy who is here each day giving and helping others with nothing to gain yourself.  I'm sure this is a reflection of the man your dad was to you, and as such he will continue to live on through you and all you continue to pass on to your kids and grandkids.

I am so grateful my mothers health continues to be excellent, despite the pain we all still feel having lost my dad way too early to cancer.

My dad has been gone for 30 years (I lost him when I was young) and not a day goes by that I don't think of him and give him credit for helping me in my life

I lost my mother at a young age of 52 and she missed my first born by 3 months. I'm still mad at god about that, but I understand what you and your family may be going through.
