Baltimore over the L.A. Angels - Seems as though the betting public (and I'm sure sports fans in general) are assuming that since the Angels lost last night to lowly Baltimore, surely they won't lose again tonight. Adding fuel to this dubious theory is that the Orioles really poured it on last night, scoring 16 runs on 19 hits. Surely the Angels are going to be really, REALLY mad about that. Well, maybe. But I doubt it.
The Angels are a team that's motivated by things like facing a team with a better record, or facing a team that's on a winning streak, or facing a team that won a series from them the last time they met. The Orioles present none of those challenges. I don't think the Angels are all pissed off because they got beaten badly last night. It was a night where everything went wrong, and I'll bet they just chalked it up as such. The beleaguered O's, meanwhile, probably can't remember when they last had such a good time on the diamond. If there's one team between these two that's looking forward to getting back on the field much more than the other, it's the Orioles, not the Angels. I can't see anything but another convincing win tonight. The pitching matchup looks one-sided, but so what? It looked lopsided last night, too. It's time for me to bust out the reverse runline whooping stick once again.
I'll have another play at 8:00, and that's if I don't slip one in right before 7:00.

Mr Bator, Any opinion on Tor over TB tonight. Kazmir has struggled this year, and while Tallet is no sure thing he has generally given his team a chance to win when he has started this year. I don't believe the high price on TB is quite justified tonight. Thought?
