After a quck scan through your 25 paragraphs, I don't see any mention of why the Nats are 38 & 72 with a .345 winning percentage. Maybe since they are sloted in the 29th positon with team errors has a little something to do with it.  This abberation of wins is not uncommon in a 162 game schedule.  Even for the bumbling, stumbling, fumbling Nationals.

I suppose comparing the under 10 bet to an impulse purchase was not a good analogy.  I didn't just fire it in on that under on a hunch.  I fired it in because I suddenly saw a very clear picture developing within my own thread.  There I was discussing the Red Sox and it seemed people only wanted to talk about the over.  If I hadn't been fooling with my own thread, I might have looked around a little and surely would have noticed that the same thing was happening with the Rangers/Angels game.  Everyone was loving that game over 9 and of course the under was a lock.
