A little historical footnote.   If it wasn't for this tragic day in 2001, there might never have been the legend of Tom Brady.  Yeah I get it some of you don't like him, but he is the GOAT personal feelings aside.

The 9/11 bombings caused the nfl to suspend all games for week 2 of that season and also led to Boston Strong rally which certainly helped the Patriots cause and so in week 2 played after the bye, Drew Bledsoe suffered the fateful hit by Moe Lewis of the Jets, and Tom Brady comes off the bench and very nearly rallies the Patriots in a spirited drive that came up short, but the confidence was brimming and the following week, Tom Brady and the Patriots go on to blow out the Indianapolis Colts on their way to their first super bowl.

Drew Bledsoe, who had just signed a massive 10 year contract and was supposed to be the Patriots quarterback for the next 10 years then gets traded to Buffalo and the rest is history
