Verlander is not 1-4 in his last 5 starts he has 24 wins this season. In his last 5 starts hes 4-0. He had a ND and hasn&#x27;t suffered a loss since july against the white sox.Also in his only game at yankee stadium this year he went 6 and gave up 3, i&#x27;d say hes more then up to the task.

Yankees lineup is far better than Detrot, and CC is a playoff monster.  The yankees win a pitchers duel 3-2. Verlander has had a great year but the playoffs will be too much for him to handle espoecially with Yankee stadium rocking.
