Lastly, The Rays started this series only a handful of games behind the Yanks. If they were to get swept in this series, it would really hurt their playoff chances. So if you want to talk about "emotion" which is pretty irrelevant in regular season of an sport. (I'm more concerned about who got a good night sleep last night in their hotel room, and who was out partying) The emotion is on the side of the Rays, not the Yanks playing just another regular season game, after they already have this series locked up 2-0.

My point in that argument was that you can't bet a game purely on emotion, especially if it is a regular season baseball game. There are a lot of other factors, and unless you are on that baseball team, you have no idea what kind of emotion is being shown in the clubhouse, team chemistry, etc.
