Hit the Reds/Nats O8.5 and the Braves on the RL. Got the start I wanted from
Loshe in Milwaukee, but the offense was MIA and I gotta tip my hat to Miley who
dealt. Nonetheless a profitable day and a little 5-1 run the past 2 days, hope
it continues.

Giants ML (-131) 1 Unit: Ryan Vogelsong might be one of the most
underrated pitchers in the game. If he wasn't pitching for the Giants he
definitely would be at least the #2 starter for most teams. He looked sharp in
the spring and I think he will come out sharp in his season opener at home.
It's tough to beat the Giants @ At&t Park and the great arms really get to
benefit from the pitcher friendly park. If the Giants can get the early lead,
it should be smooth sailing.
Angels ML (+111) 1 Unit: I wanted to take the Angels in Friday's series
opener against the Rangers, but I stopped myself after digging into Jason
Vargas's home/away splits. Thankfully I would have lost a game that turned out
to be a coin flip. The Angels have gotten off to a slow start and that has to
be a concern to everyone involved in the Halo's clubhouse. But let's face it,
their is way too much talent on this team for this to continue. Let's also not
forget they did start out on the road in Cincy (a legit WS threat), then
immediately head to Texas, to play a Rangers team that despite losing key
players will still be tough to beat at home. The pitching matchup between
Hanson and Harrison should make for a very interesting game to say the least.
Hanson's biggest problems last season with ATL when his control was bad and he
was giving up too many free passes. I am sure he is going to make that a major
focus area for himself as he looks for a good season debut for his new ball
club. Meanwhile the Rangers will be going with their ace Matt Harrison. I
personally haven't been too much of a fan of Harrison, as I feel he is an above
average pitcher on what was pretty elite Ranger teams. Now that the Rangers
lineup isn't as potent, I think Harrison will struggle not getting the kind of
run support he is accustomed too. I like this situational spot on the Angels
for + money, as I feel they are definitely a live dog and more then capable of
winning this game. Of course we are less than a week in, but you gotta feel the
Angels need this one for simple morale boost.
A's/Astros U 8.5 (-121) 1
Unit: In this contest we will have
Bartolo Colon and Eric Bedard taking the mound. I don't have a ton of things to
say about this one, but I think the pitching will be superior on Saturday. I
can definitely see 1 or these 2 teams getting held to 2 or fewer runs, which
will go a long way to hitting the under.

SJ. Bud Norris has moved up a day to pitch today. Just FYI. Think that bodes even better for the under. He pitches lights out at home & is the ace of the staff. GL.

Let's hope the bullpen shows up.
