 You've had many quality takes regarding the Pirates.   wasn't it you that predicted when the Pirates started 7-1 that they would collapse like they always do.  I mean they did sort of collapse, but hmmm they're kind of right there now, and at least the management picked up DE LA Cruz, so they're trying aren't they? 

Seems like Nrfi would be a decent play.

They had to try something this year or the fan base would have erupted and attendance would have plummeted the rest of the season on non skenes home starts. 

They are a .500 team at best with that lineup no matter what moves were made. Way to inconsistent. 

They aren't built like Arizona or SD to get into a playoff spot

It's about dammit time they score some points for skenes.  They need to keep Mr future Cy young happy if they want to get a complimentary Mercedes Benz after skenes signs his multi year contract
