This weather gonna hit Wash or what?
So what happens to the bets with the new rain delay rule.. if its continued on another date is the bet still alive until that date.
?? How long could that continuation be ?? I bet 1700usd on the under.. even if its a near lose still having that monet sitting for months is not good.

They just mentioned on the new rule change that games would be played on a later date exactly where the left off

most books have action after 5 full innings for moneyline and totals need to go the full 9 innings and usually, bets are only carried over to the next day for the postseason.
I would say most books would grade moneyline and cancel totals if the game does not resume tonight

My local rules say game must be 8.5 or 9 innings and finish by 8AM next day for graded wagers or all bets are cancelled. Hopefully this game is done ??

um. This is not even close to true. Try again. Almost every book has a provision that all games b
must go 8.5 innings to be considered an official game for wagering. Just like NCAA FB has to go 55 minutes.
stop guessing. For the benefit of everyone in the forum.

this has nothing to do with betting rules. Bets will be voided if not finished tonight.

For all moneyline bets, a game is considered official after five innings of play (four and a half if the home team is winning). Thereafter, if a game is canceled or called out, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning of play. If the home team scores to tie or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, the winner is then determined by the score at the time the game is canceled. ( Heritage). Total obviously would be cancelled though.

This is William Hill. If they call it then it's an official game
The game must go at least 9 innings of play (or 8.5 if the home team is ahead) for bets to have action, otherwise bets are void unless a winning market has already been established. The only exceptions being:

Don’t know about these new rules some of you are talking about, but for betting purposes, if it’s a money line bet, it only has to go five innings. But run line, team total or over/under bets have to go at least 8.5 innings or they’re void. At least that’s how I remember it always being.

Been using it for 10+ years with never an issue. Can place wagers up to 10K. Have a middle man that makes sure everything goes smoothly and I pay when/if I lose. No $ in account. And most importantly no issues getting paid. I wouldnt play anywhere else other than getting a ticket at a Vegas window.

Yes people once and for all, if you bet the moneyline and the game were to end now Yankees would pay Nationals you lost your loot. Run lines will not count due to there not being enough innings played.
