Under 9.5 Runs +1.05 - Hammering this Game
Very seldom have will you find a situation this strong. In the last 21 meetings between the Cubs and Brewers only one time have they scored more than 9 runs.
Combine that with Quintana's success against the Brewers and this is a really strong play for me. Quintana is 4-1 with a 0.92 ERA lifetime against the Brewers and this year he is 2-0 with a 0.95 ERA against. He could be good for 6 innings of shutout pitching.
Chacin for the Brewers is also a very strong Pitcher in this situation with an 11-4 record and 3.91 ERA. He also allows less than 1 HR per 9 innings of work, so not worried about the long ball with him at Wrigley. In his only start against the Cubs this year he was excellent going 6 innings and giving up only 4 hits and NO Runs.
In the last 10 meetings between the Cubs and Brewers, all played this year, the average total runs scored has been 4.4 runs, which is less than half of today's 9.5 total.
I fully expect these two teams to continue to play very tight and close games, since you have the #1 and #2 Teams in the N. L. Central Division with only a 1 win difference in their records.
If this does not cover, I will accept the loss and know that I was definitely on the right side with a lot of value on Under 9.5 runs and getting +1.05. If this line goes to 10, I will pile on more. This will be a very large play for me.
