Kinda smells like -1.5 would be better tonight. The SD offense has been pretty inept, and even without Blake, Martin, and Furcal, the D's can outscore the fathers by 2. With Billingsley on the hill too, makes sense to me, even with Kellogg's low strike %.

Am I way off here?

had LAD-1.5 yesterday, bases loaded couple times just couldn't bring them home.

i know my opinion isnt as good as your AJ but if i may, i believe the dodgers -1.5 is the better play than the over, even though i think the dodgers are ready to break out against sd's #3 pitcher at best...the reason for the RL over the OVER 8 runs is that the PADRES CANT SCORE, they only scored 1 run against r.wolf and 1 run against kershaw(yes he is good at home) but they are very hittable pitchers that sd couldnt capitalize on...
unless you think the dodgers can cover all the runs against a division opp. i think the RL would be the better play....
just my 2cents....

he wasn't saying he would talk the GAME total, the TEAM TOTAL for the Dodgers...which i believe is at 5

as for the TT, my book doesnt offer it but if its 4.5 i would stay away...
thinking the game could be a 4-2, 5-2 game when its all said and done....
and the 2 runs by the padres is a very GENEROUS 2 runs...

Glad to see we're basically on the same page here...I'm contemplating a few possibilities on my Dodgers myself right now.

Here's my theory: not only do they have Billingsley on the hill today, BUT, their offense was basically shut down the last 2 games. 1 run Friday night and essentially 1 run last night before the walk off in the bottom of the 9th. Does this potent Dodger lineup get shut down THREE games in a row??? I can't see that happening...I don't like betting Run Lines though, almost always lose when I take a Run Line bet.

So I'm contemplating:

Dodgers -210 (don't usually like to lay chalk even close to this, BUT...)

Dodgers TT OVER 4.5 (again, the offense waking up after 2 nights of falling asleep)

Padres TT UNDER 3.5 (Billingsley has been a straight stud at home)

i understand and 5 is waayy too high at this spot....
usually i would say its going to sail over the 5 but the dodger bats TODAY dont need to many runs as billingsley should shut down the padres weak bats.....
padres team total under 3.5 looks a lot better than the dodger tt over 4.5 or 5
once again my book doesnt offer team totals so im just going with the dodgers RL and threw in the dodger ml in a 3 teamer as the first two legs hit (atl 2h ats and atl 2h under)
