Thanks to everyone that chimed in yesterday's thread with your kind comments. I read them all and appreciate you all
Busy day today, we're making the Costco run. Costco cracks me up. I can feed my family lunch for $10, and then I walk out of that store dropping at least $500 more.
Anyway, not a lot of time for a long write up, but I'll make a few points supporting my play:
1) The Royals are a pretty good team and it doesn't surprise me that they're in contention for the division lead. However, I do think they're slightly overrated at the moment. They've played the White Sox 7 times helping inflate their numbers and they haven't won a series against a team with a 500 or better record.
2)The Rangers are clearly the superior team on paper and they're much better than their record. I do think World Series hangovers are a real thing. Mentally, it can take a bit to get your head back to starting over. Although, it's around this time that you start to see World Series teams put the hangover behind them. Even being hungover, the Rangers (like the Orioles) have for the most part followed a lousy performance with a strong one. This trend has been more prevalent in the last few weeks. They were definitely lousy yesterday.
3) Lastly, the Rangers haven't seen a ton of Wacha. But, Wacha's stuff isn't exactly petrifying. I think after a time or 2 through the lineup, the offense will get to him. On the other hand, the Royals saw Dunning last year. As a team, in 21 ABs they hit .095 vs him. A sample size, but it didn't appear anyone saw him well.
I'm on the Rangers today at -105 for 7 units.
Cheers, BOL and enjoy the weekend

Dunning should pitch well, just need to get those big bats rakin again!!!
The wife and I drew straws over who would make the Costco run! We have a 20 month old and she needed a nap so I got to stay home and watch her while I check out some baseball games!!
All about the family!!!

@NONEED4LUCK - Thanks NONEED! Didn’t know you lived in KC. It was a long time ago, but I went to a game at Kauffman stadium. Thought it was an awesome place. Let’s get this Rangers play
@kidd22 - Cheers Kidd!
Okay, I’m off to Costco. Will be back later if anyone has questions or comments about the play.

Made it home safely from Costco. What a shit show that place is on a Saturday. The scrubs hovering around the free sample booths waiting for the next batch to be cooked are unbelievable

@Brooklyncapper - I can’t keep up with you man. You’re fast and furious

They didn’t pass the stadium plans for downtown. I live on the 25th floor and my corner would have been off the left field corner. Would have been sweet but the traffic is gonna be madness. World Cup is going to be insane in a couple years. If you are ever back in town, I owe you more than a drink for all your winners you post! Let’s go!
