All early betting is on Celtics as they open at Miami. Opened -8 and down to -6 in some places. I would think sharp money.
Fading defending champs first home game has been gold at least for the last several years. The visiting team stews while the banner is raised, ring ceremony, etc. Much motivation, plus books know public will be all over the Heat.
I think at least a 3 game chase against Heat will work even if they cover first game vs. Celtics. Hopefully public will move line back up to at least 7. Will buy at least one point without any hook.
That is my first NBA chase of the season.
GM1 home vs Celtics GM2 away vs Knicks GM3 home vs Denver
This is all the work I have done on this, if anyone wants to back check the last few seasons most have won on the first game. I don't know how they did before that as I haven't lost first game since I started doing this and I don't remember how many years. At least 4, I think.

He said he jumped up on his feet with arms in the air for that last minute touchdown, then the review reversed it and "caught him by surprise" with a HUGE kick to the crotch BEFORE he could get ready for it!!!

Angle : Did a search on Champs first game the following season . Champs 10-3 SU 6-7 ATS last 13 years . I think you are right the last few years the Champs played very badly their first game . Going to follow you on 3 game chase .

I will be fading a Laker chase. They start real slow and then pick it up around January. I believe a winless preseason. The public will be all over them with Howard and Nash acqusitions . Will tail Angle as well...
