I love Southern California sun, surf, perfect weather. It’s hard to beat. If I could pick one place to live, it’d be there every time. But when I did live out there, it felt like my paycheck evaporated faster than mist off the ocean breeze

You use whatever book you you wanna use, don’t stress him. He assumes you used MGM, he has no idea….no clue. Do your thing. it’s bouncing around 120 etc. a bit higher, whatever. He’s here to bust your chops about it?

The Padres aren't just a better team than the Dodgers. They're a much better team than the Dodgers in every phase of the game. They'll blow the Dodgers out in the next two games.

Padres are the right side tonight. They're playing at their peak level and you can tell from their interviews they are laser focused. King vs Buehler is a big pitching mismatch as well.

 

Shohei Ohtani has gone just 4-for-30 with a single homer when playing in San Diego.

That's bad news against King, who has been dealing since the start of June, posting a 2.12 ERA while holding batters to a slugging percentage of .297 across 20 starts.

Betts has gone just 2-for-31 at the dish in his last three postseasons as a Dodger and also has a history of struggling in San Diego. In his career, the eight-time All-Star has a .294 batting average while slugging .524 but those numbers plummet to .250 and .456 at Petco Park.
