Could really use some insight. Got a nice parlay ending with Mariners win but have money on Astros already. Mccullers called up and a hot Mariners team at home, tough call. Any thoughts guys? I'm leaning adding on Mariners for a nice night

Here was my write-up on the game in my picks thread...
Seattle Mariners (Gaviglio) vs Houston Astros (McCullers)
A potential Cy Young candidate, backed by the best lineup in baseball against a career minor leaguer at -130 value? Yes, please!
It doesn't appear McCullers will be on much of a pitch count, and all signs point to him being ready to return to his dominant ways... and boy... was he dominant. Striking out 10.4 batters per nine, giving him a K/BB ratio of just under 4. A HR rate of just 0.7 per nine. With a WHIP just above 1.0 and an ERA of 2.58. Only Cano and Gamel have positive splits against RHP, so if he can manage his way through those two and Cruz. He should be in for a very pleasant return.
As for Sam Gaviglio... we're about to see him get hit with a little dose of reality. He's somehow managed to scrape by in the big leagues, despite giving up loads of hard contact, striking out only 5.7 per nine and giving up 2.1 HR's per nine. If you know anything about statistics in baseball, you know that it's nearly impossible to have continued success while running into bats like this and surrendering hard contact. These trends will catch up to him, and I see no better time than tonight. Going up against the Astros, who absolutely obliterate RHP. I mean, they obliterate all kinds of pitching, but with 7 guys in their lineup that hold a wOBA of .350+ against right handers... Gaviglio could really come crashing back to earth in this one.
Houston Astros (McCullers) -130

Thank you Waco, just the kind of insight I was looking for, although making my decision harder, appreciate it nonetheless. Thanks man!
