I thought you guys were going Over 3.5 in that one; so why bet a NO? It was expensive (around -150) by the way....
because there are 2 good pitchers and you could easily have a scoreless first and still go over 3 1/2...there are 4 more innings... and as so often happens there was a scoreless first and the middles of the lineup produces a run in the top of the 2nd...the 2 are not mutually exclusive..

The NYM/ATL over 3.5 F5 may be a good play tonight as well, I just have a hard time playing overs with the NYM but they're finally playing well lately. Just never know which team will how up and which Colon will show up either.

I agree they're not mutually exclusive, but you've got to admit you're kinda betting against yourself; looking really sharp in the 1st certainly can't make you feel good about the over. And if one of them got shelled in the 1st you wouldn't be to happy about laying -150 when over was your real pick. Just my 2 cents...

I can get the over @ 8.5 for -160 at my book I'll pay that juice but when the F5 is set at 5 that just screams push to me so when I can get 8.5 I never no what to do

Couple more.... F5 Pitt +105 MEDIUM. Pirates pitcher Volquez gave up 2 earned runs in 21 innings his last 3 starts, all wins. Cards Miller gave up 12 earned runs in 13 innings his last 3 starts, all losses. Pirates are overall a better hitting team than Cards, but lost the 1st 3 games in this series, so playing to avoid the sweep. Prop: Wash Scores 1st -140 MEDIUM. Nats Gonzalez lights out with zero earned runs his last 3 starts, all wins. O's Chen gave up 10 earned runs in 15 innings his last 3, including some early ones. Hitting is close, but batting first with Gonzalez going looks like a big advantage for Nats. LAA TT Over 4.5 -120 MEDIUM. Rangers pitcher Lewis is bad, and at home he's 1-4 with a 6.54 ERA. Halos are hitting well, getting at least 5 runs in 6 of their last 7.
