My friend says that Timmy Lincecum is not a top 10 pitcher in the MLB. He can't be serious. 

2 time CY Young winner plus a World Series Champion. 

What do you guys think?

Wouldn't two Cy Youngs already put him there?

Put him on Philly, Atlanta, RSox, Yankees (teams that can score), and he would lead that team in wins. And yes, Virginia, I'm including Halladay and CC.................

Beckett's not remotely close to as good, Lester has yet to put it together for a stretch longer than a few consecutive starts, and Josh Johnson can't be on this list when he's missed basically this entire season. If JJ were healthy and kept it going this year, he'd be right in the discussion for top ten as well.

He is 27 and has won the CY Young twice and won a world series as the ace the whole way.

He has been the NL strikeout champ 3 straight years.

He is easily TOP 5

the list i made wasn't entirely my opinion, it was just a list of guys that you could legitimately argue to be better than lincecum. tried to say that even with a pessimistic outlook lincecum is at worst the 9th or 10th best starter in mlb.

He is the FREAKing man!

I'll take 1Verlander, than 2Lincecum.  3Halladay is too old.  Everyone else is after them.

If he was on another team well if he was top 5 pitcher in the league he would be playing for the highest paid teams in the league if u look at the yanks rotation there pitching isnt really up to par suck it, face it he had 2 good years now we are seeing the real tim weed smoker lincecum.
